Len at the launch of the space shuttle, Discovery, which was carrying an experiment from Len's laboratory.  Len is also a member of The Space Station Utilization Committee.

 

 

Alida and Len off to a dinner honoring Len for being awarded 1st Prize in The Henry L. Moses Awards for Excellence in Basic Research.  Len has won 1st Prize four times and is the only person to have won it more than once.
